I've been playing for several years. Never got very good, but I can muddle through the harmonies of a lot of songs.
I can play the intro to Heart of Gold. That's the pinnacle of my musical achievements.

A few years ago I decided to join the local Friday night jam session at a restaurant. I learned real quick there is a HUGE difference between playing by yourself and playing with a band. Plus I learned all about stage fright. I could stand in front of Congress and give a speech, but that night I was literally shaking I was so scared.

I been surfin tabs all day. Found tons of stuff.
I can play my guitar in front of congregations, at our reunions but when i get around strangers, wow, mouth gets dry, can make a run, forget lyrics. Like a rookie, lol.
