I just built a 6mm arc AR platform. 20in barrel. I have 100 rounds of ammo. just looking to see if I made a bad choice. Right now in working up in Mi but live in Oklahoma. ammo is plentiful up here. but didn't know anyone in Oklahoma shooting it. I am going to reload for it as well. Any thoughts on the round.

The only thing I heard about it was when listening to a Hornady Pod Cast about the jackets and how the V-max and A max line of bullets are made and one of the employees there mentioned
the 6MM ARC round and stated something about his favorite bullet was the 87 V-Max in it.

That has a high BC .400 and I have used the 87 V-Max in my .243 and it is great and always one shot bang flop kills on deer with it.

That is all I know.

I just ran across this. I've got a 6mm ARC also with a 20" barrel. I reload for mine and shoot 105 Bergers and LeveRevolution that does sub-MOA. I need brass!

Starline has started making it. If you go to the website and place a backorder you'll probably have it within a couple of weeks.

I am in the process of getting a barrel, 20”, and bcg. I plan on using a BCM hg and upper receiver, an adj gas block, a reg a2 lower, and Timney fcg. I am looking forward to getting all the parts but it’s a slow accumulate and build.

I’m in Oklahoma. The Orange Arc is my new favorite go to rifle for competition, hogs, and coyotes. 108 ELDM for comp, 103 ELDX for hogs, and 87 V-Max for yotes. Super round in a super accurate rifle.
I have been buying Hornady ammo and saving the brass. I have got a couple hundred rounds now. I picked up the dies and modified case over the weekend. Ill be picking up primers and powder this weekend.
