Well, wasn't today, but bought a Dillon 1050 about a month ago. Just hacked together a trim die for way less than dillon wanted, so I can load 223 or 308 bulk ammo with two passes through the machine....

I swear I burned a 10,000 calories trying to decide between a 650 and a 1050. But I was upgrading from a Hornady Lock-N-Load, and the 1050 swaging the primer pockets turned the tide. It is way more expensive, but once you've played with one... holy crap.

If you do end up with a 650, there is an aftermarket attachment that lets you swage on a 650. It swages on a the upstroke, and Dillon says they will void your warranty if you use it... but I can't imagine they would ever find out.. swageit.com

If you happen to be in Bixby, you are welcome to swing by and play with the 1050.

Picked up a can of these from Amer-I-can mfg. 572gr Hornady Bgx. That’s a .40rd next to it, lol.

Was it difficult to setup/dial in your 1050 for .223?
