Why can't you shoot shotguns there? I was wanting to pattern a shotgun and was told they aren't allowed.

I'm not sure, but if they didn't tell you, there is a shotgun range up the road west of there. I have never been there so I don't know the hours.

Yes, I've been there but it's a skeet/trap range.

This is only a rumor but I heard someone was shooting a shotgun out there and shot one of the cement barriers that keeps people from shooting too high and the pellets came back and peppered a lot of people on the line. After that, he doesn't allow shotguns anymore.

I was out there yesterday shooting my new rifle and it was busy. I talked to a lot of good guys out there but unfortunately, no OSA members.
