About 20 years ago, there were NO HOGS around my parent's place in east Texas, but one neighbor thought it would be a good idea to turn out a few to hunt (on his own place of course). When the hogs didn't notice the fence around HIS place and rooted up my Dad's pasture, my brother and I killed 4 of HIS hogs, and he got really mad about it. Fast forward 20 years, that same guy is the most vocal about the hog problem in the area and the damage they are doing to his hay fields. I've taken the opportunity to remind him more than once where they came from.
I knew a man near Antlers who released pigs on his place because he was pissed at the neighbors for trespassing. He then sold his places and moved. You can't educate a d**b a**.
