I was bored and had some POS sportsman guide steel 40 round magazines. I took the magazine apart and mounted it in the vise with the ar-15 mounted on top of the vise. I leveled out the rifle and marked where I wanted to cut the magazine. The magazine was then welded to a 2" wide strip of steel and mounted to a piece of half inch plywood. I used half inch 1/4 round molding strips for the edge of the stand and truck bed liner for the coat. Now if I could only finish my wife's adirondack chairs I started two weeks ago...
