I was a member when I was in a gun club (required). I called NRA and told them not to call me or send crap in the mail. Only exception was their magazine which I enjoyed.


On a different topic, AARP was a real pain in the ass to stop. They sent me crap every few weeks for years. I will never give AARP a dime.

Annual member here. I renew at Wannenmacher because you get free admission and usually a hat. That, plus the magazine, makes a pretty decent deal. It's not a perfect organization, but their legal action brigade is pretty darn good.

They do send me LOTS of breathless emails and phone calls for more donations. I don't have time to talk usually and tell them so. Then, I block the number. Works pretty well.

I was wondering the same. I don't recall ever getting a call from the NRA. Maybe I accidently gave them rc508abn's number....
