I don't understand how our government thinks (or at least tell us) that the cartels will be over here buying machine guns and 50s. Its hard enough to get them here ourselves, and theyre not cheap. You know where its easy to buy them and cheap? Pretty much any 3rd world country. The Cartels have oodles of money, influence, airplanes, boats, and a few submarines. The can get those big ticket guns from the mexican government, south american governments, and numerous places overseas.

What is the ATF really planning? Are they just upset that they aren't the sole supplier of military arms to the cartels now?
