Does it help with heat buildup in the summer?

Had at least 4 vehicles done now and I'll say it makes a huge difference. However, it will not make a difference if you have sheetty tint all the way around or just factory smoked glass in the back and the tint up front.

Truth! The tinted glass that GM uses has zero heat reduction properties at all. And as far as the broken windshield issue is concerned, I think the top 2 tiers of material come with a lifetime no fault warranty. And they also give the best heat reduction.

I installed some reflective Tint on my Geo metro from Lowes and Not on the windshield.
That stuff really cooled the car down. No heat on your arms or face with direct sunlight shining on you.

Yea not auto film.
I would be very interested in this windshield tint for a couple cars.
