This is happening again for my next kid. Field trip is coming up. The school is trying to say parents that drive separately to the locale while it is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC will be denied entry. I fully intend to FAFO...

This is from 2017 and Connecticut, but would seems to also apply to Non-school, public access locations.

TLDR; They can't ban you from a public place without a high burden of proof that it's necessary.
