These are cultivated varieties, much easier than hunting the wild ones.

We'll run them through the steam juicer and freeze the juice for later use.

The bronze ones are sweeter tasting. Probably about 16%- 18% sugar content.

I've seen them in Latimer and leflore counties. I bet they are in McCurtain county and probably pushmataha.

The crop is down this year in east TX due to drought I guess, but I‘ve been able to pick about a gallon.

They're definitely here in McCurtain County. I've got them on all of our properties. I forgot about them so this was a nice reminder to go pick some. Cheers!

Don't have any in Pontotoc County that I have seen but I do have wild plum trees (Sand Plums)in one area my property.

I have something that grows in my yard that looks like grapes but I was told it’s something poisonous. Have to post a picture. I do have a Native American recipe for a desert with wild grapes.
