These are cultivated varieties, much easier than hunting the wild ones.

We'll run them through the steam juicer and freeze the juice for later use.

The bronze ones are sweeter tasting. Probably about 16%- 18% sugar content.

Are there any wild ones in Oklahoma? Maybe Mccurtain county?

Don't have any in Pontotoc County that I have seen but I do have wild plum trees (Sand Plums)in one area my property.

I have something that grows in my yard that looks like grapes but I was told it’s something poisonous. Have to post a picture. I do have a Native American recipe for a desert with wild grapes.
