Been thinkin' about an AR, got a Mini-14 instead.

I really don't care for the AR platform, but been thinking about one for a year or so. I started looking at Mini-14 awhile back and decided that's the choice for me. Bought one tonight. In my way of thinking the Ruger will do anything an AR will and cost less.

Something like that, though I much prefer the pictured Archangel Sparta stock to the folding ATI Strikeforce stock that came with my Tactical Mini-14.

I love my Mini. I have had it for years and it will eat anything you feed it.

I believe you will be extremely disappointed with the accuracy, or should I say, lack of accuracy. They are great "plinkers", but they are generally MUCH less accurate than a base AR.
