They have a large selection of ammo and it is usually priced well.
They will let you backorder ammo. You have to keep up on it, but they won't change the price on you once you have it ordered. I've gotten ammo over a year after ordering it.
If you play the game, you can often get cheap or free shipping from them. Shipping on multiple cases of ammo can get expensive. Free shipping is good.
If you purchase a membership in their buyers club (something like 29 bucks) you get 10% off most of their prices PLUS you can get 4 months no interest payments.
There is no tax.

Hard to beat Wal-Mart for ammo prices, even with taxes. Unless you buy 1000+ rounds at a time.
I got excited when I saw Federal American Eagle .308 Case of 500 rounds for $150 until I clicked the link and it's only 200 rounds for the same price. Which is still on par with most others, but I was about to order the hell out of some .308.

Walmart sells winchester 9mm 115 gr fmj for 19.97 per 100. That's about $218 (including 9% sales tax) for 1000. Didn't see anything on the 'net that was less than 200 bucks (per 1000) before shipping.

I have dealt with Rudy at USA ammo and have only had outstanding service. The reloads are manufactured on the same line as the new.
