I seen one near Stratford one morning while driving into my hunting area.
And it was solid black. No one believes me but there was 3 of us in the front seat of the truck and we all seen it walk directly in front of the headlights just across the other side of a barbed wire gate that I was about to get out and open. It was probably 10' in front of us just slowly walking across the dirt trail.
