I'm about to dig into this Bellmatic. These are buggers to work on, and this one is in about the worst condition I've ever come across. I'm wondering if I should start looking for a donor movement now before I even start, haha.

People! This is why you should never bury your loved ones with their favorite timepieces. It makes @thor447 's job that much harder when it's dug back up!

I've got faith you can do it with minimal pieces left over!

Oh it's off to a good start. Lume is missing from the hour hand, the alarm doesn't work, and I'm only about 10 minutes into the disassembly.

I just took the calendar plate off and alarm parts went flying. I guess that's why it didn't work before, lol. Whoever was in here before only put about 1/2 the parts in right, and as soon as I took the cover plate off - PING!!!! Found them all though. This thing sucks.....

It'll be sweet if can be fixed though.

That's the plan. We'll see how long it takes to get it done though. I already placed a parts order tonight. Will have to probably wait at least a week or two on delivery out of England via Royal (Snail) Mail.
