So who does a really good job at bluing instate? I'd like to watch and learn a bit also. I have an older colt match target I'd like to make pretty again. I'm not necessarily looking for nib from factory bluing I just want it all redone.
The Brownells Cold Blue kits are pretty good if you feel like doing it yourself.
I've redone a couple of rifles for a friend that rusted up. They came pretty good.

fyi and whoever else is interested, I have a bluing setup I am not using and Id just as soon sell it or trade it for a pistol or something. I would make someone a deal, but Im not going to be hand holding you as you learn to work and deal with stuff that could melt your arm off.

Watching this thread. I've been wondering who does hot bluing in Oklahoma since Honeybee had to stop offering the service. Looks to me like there might be customers in need of a provider.
R&S Gun shop in Moore does blueing, haven't seen his work.
I second this. Wayne has done a few for me and does a great job.
