Where to get bluing done?

Am going to follow this chain as have an older Remington that has surface rust and probably needs to have looked at for possible advice

be surprised at what some mild steel wool and elbow grease, mild circles with a can of pb blaster from any auto store will do to remove rust, wear a nice rubber glove recommended and re apply a good coat of any good motor oil to said areas

a drop of oil will go further than you think when you rub it in.

Sooooooo, you say you cleaned and oiled it? What’s it look like now?? When dealing with Winchester’s you definitely need to find someone who knows exactly what they’re doing. I’ve read more threads then I can remember where folks have reblued their rifles only to have the turn out kind of a purple.
