But seriously you guys have the worst luck with boats I assume.
Nothing more than regular maintenance for me.
Knock on Wood.
My 1975 Bayliner with it's 50HP outboard has been excellent. still running on the same engine and never been apart except for replacement timing belt and spark plugs and fuel lines replaced 1 time.
I still run the original distributor cap and rotor and wires.
Dad messed up the lower unit by leaving it tilted up in the winter.
Buddy had it for 4 years and left it stored nose down for 3 of those years not moving it and the floor and foam needed replaced.
Not boat savvy.
I do love the SKI name though.
