I don't dissagree with what you said. folks that make documentaries, use lots of facts, and innunendo's to make their point. Editing makes it easier.Well, I mean I can read a piece or watch a documentary and still consider it good even if I disagree with the writer/producer. That is if it actually was good. I don't think Moore is good. I've watched docs with tiny budgets made by kids that are better than what he puts out.
I've watched several Moore docs, and all the ones I've watched I've watched at least twice. They bounce all over the place, have no consistency, and always have more of a political stump-speech feel to them than a documentary feel. What I mean by that is a good documentary will usually present information and raise questions in a way that is not patronizing to the viewer. The viewer shouldn't feel like he's being told to feel a certain way about something; he should feel like he is learning about something. Moore does that at times, but 5 minutes later you get to a part that sounds like letters to the editor of the local paper put into documentary format.
I was generous on the 40/60 split, tho.
