Broken Arrow makes it to 'Top 100 Best Places to Live' list

BROKEN ARROW, Okla. (KTUL) — On Friday, the City of Broken Arrow announced that the city was listed as one of the best places to live in America according to Livability.com's tenth annual ranking.

"Broken Arrow enchants residents with a unique blend of small-town charm and modern amenities," Livability.com said. "Family-friendly neighborhoods, a booming economy, a low cost of living, and plenty of things to do, contribute to Broken Arrow's welcoming community."

According to the City, the platform cites the community's balance of big-city amenities, robust economy, and ability to retain and maintain its small-town charm.

Broken Arrow was a great place to live.

20 years ago. Rampant development and the proliferation of subdivisions with huge houses jammed onto tiny lots has made the town into a city-suburb of Tulsa.

Truth, but... Lawton is a 1000 times better than it was in 1990. I have also been to MUCH WORSE places. Ever been to Leesville Louisianna? Lawton would be like a villiage on the Riviera compared to Leesville LOL

If I wanted to be a city boy, I'd move to Broken Arrow on the East side. Lots of great fishing on that side of the state.
