Trying to cure a trigger fail to reset problem as I am not fond of a single shot Buckmark. Have changed sear, sear spring and when function checking all works fine. When you shoot it, it fails to reset. So today I did a total tear down of the pistol and cleaned and inspected everything that could possible be wrong. Think I found the problem, just don't know what to do about it now.

This is a pic of the original sear and note, my safety is almost impossible to engage. The safety lever was contacting the sear "V" is my guess.

So after swapping parts and reassembly, I notice that the safety lever will move fine until the sear is installed. Took a closer look without the sear spring installed and yep, it is hitting the sear right where the old one is flattened. But now what???

Any suggestions?
