I don't worry to much anymore as my shooting has become a simple hobby.
But I have a RCBS runout guage I used to use.
You can google them to see what they are and how they work.
Don't remember which dies are best anymore either.
I'm an old man whose mind wonders these days.....
I'll have to disagree. Lee is the best for the money. Best for run-out conventional die is Forester, arbor press - Wilson.
I wouldn't worry about the run-out unless you are playing with 6ppc or 6br type stuff, anything over .003 become a wash. I would spend more time and money on turning and annealing the necks.
I used to worry about run-out and have the gauges - but now I just pay more attention to neck turning. Turning will show OOR cast necks that should be culled.
