No it is not Al Bundy. While Cliven Bundy is not exactly standing on firm ground pertaining to his rights, the .gov seems to be using a pretty heavy "Big Brother" hand in this situtation. The .gov is on Bundy's case because of a tortoise that is supposed to be endangered? The Desert Tortoise Conservation Center was so overcrowded with tortoises that they had to euthanize many of them. They couldn’t the tortoises into the wild because that would cause overcrowding in the native population. The BLM has already driven off about 25 other ranchers off of their ranches and Cliven Bundy is the last 67 year old MAN STANDING.

Home, Home on the Range: Where the Desert Tortoises Roam?
November 1, 2013 By Lyle Brennan

..."You may have read recently that the center was so overcrowded with tortoises that they had to euthanize many of them. They couldn’t release them into the wild because that would cause overcrowding in the native population. How can an endangered animal population be overcrowded? That’s government logic for you."...

Now we have snipers posted to shoot a motherfukcer that'll mess with a tortoise. That part is new. Tortie are getting euthanized like a motherfukcer in the lab, but we have to protect them with snipers in the wild. What's all this costing me?

Too bad tortoises don't fly. Then they could get their brains/guts bashed in by wind generator blades and nobody would say a thing. :grumble::rollingla

Ain't there any roads in the area? Spring is here, just run over them things, that ain't against no law.

When they're all runned over, graze the damned cows.
