Went a few weeks back when we had the beautiful weather out to Robber's Cave. Did a little rappeling and a little climbing and a little camping. great fun! It took months for us to plan a weekend when more than 2 guys had the weekend free and the Lord blessed us with 70 degree weather. Five dudes one tent. Anyway here are the photos. I am the guy in the yellow shirt in the first photo.

There were some controlled burns going on in the area causing all the haze. Still a good time, and the smoke cleared out by late afternoon. That part of S.E. Oklahoma is beautiful.

Good job men. I love the pics, never been down there yet. Looks like a good place for some rope fun. Should have taken pics of the camp site. Thanks

wonderful place!!!

have taken my Son's Boy Scout troop there many time repelling.
I'm the one that sets up ropes and guides kids over the edge.

we don't force any kid that doesn't want to go over the edge.
everything is redundant with a second rope attached to the scout.
backup rope is tied separately from harness again for redundancy.

steel biner is used for final attachment to Scout ... no figure 8 used as a panicking scout can flip figure 8 over and cam itself against biner causing failure. multiple anchor points used again for redundancy.

a boring outing is a successful repelling trip!
kids LOVE it!!! really builds confidence!!!
that goes for the parents and their daughters I've taken repelling too...
