I've spent the day working up loads with the new powder. Most of the day was uneventful. I could not seem to find the right combination with Sierra 55gr gamekings. My favorite bullet. Until I got one tenth below max and then bam! Everything came together. I think I'm really gonna like this powder.

I have the same problem with my .308 when i use a projectile with a short bearing surface.
By short i mean under .370" for the .308
In order to get the tight groups i would need to be at max or past it.
Played with the sierra 155 palma matchking #2156 and used it in .308 and 30-06.
High BC short bearing surface..had it flying at 3176fps from the 30-06 and great groups..shot it with hotter loads and groups did not improve much and got sticky bolt so backed off to the 3176 load
did not chrony it in the .308.. but was plenty hot for sure.....

Good groups but sucked on hogs and deer..small hole in and small hole out. yes i know!
I no longer use that bullet for anything.

I bought a 1lb to play with a few months ago. Tried it on .223 and blackout. didn't really see an improvement over other loads I was already happy with. I also didn't put in a huge amount of hours on it either.

is it supposed to get more accuracy out of 223 or just have the cleaning ability?
