Since I got this Job at Dell I'm starting to really dislike computers more and more. I used to love toying around with them, but now I hardly ever touch my computer at home unless checking my email or something.
Anyway, I'm looking for a new hobby. I'm thinking about reading through my criminal justice books from front to back simply because that stuff interests the heck out of me and it'll help in my classes, but I also need something else.

So lets hear it. What are some good cheap hobby suggestions? I'm really up for anything at this point so no reason to ask what I like. If I knew, I wouldn't be asking

Thanks ahead of time :D

Try guns, they are an out of the house hobby and will keep you away from those pesky computers that keep calling your name.

Unfortunately they cost more to feed than my kids, but you got to consider your priorities.

Off the top of my head:

- Geocaching (you have the overhead of a GPS, but from there it's inexpensive)
- Free online learning (one example: http://www.extension.harvard.edu/openlearning/;jsessionid=PDDIIDKDJDIN_)
- Hiking (even at ubran locations, i.e. Sutton Wilderness or Draper Lake)
- Freemasonry (To be one, ask one)

Already in college, it's more than enough learning for now :D

I picked this hobby up when I was 42. That was 3 years ago.

It's like snowskiing without the lift lines and the cold.

Looks fun, but I'm looking for something a little more.....uh....lazy?
