Yeah, people ***** about NIL, but at least that was forced on them by the courts (and it’s hard to argue against it from a justice point of view, IMHO). The transfer portal is a 100% self-inflicted wound.

Someone at work was listening to sports radio at work today, and he said they’re apparently reporting that 1,300 players have entered the transfer portal. They’re thinking it will probably work out well for OU on balance; they’re mostly losing back bench players to the portal, and they’re expected to be in on some players they narrowly missed earlier.
