Colorado Concealed Carry

Has anyone here ever carried in CO before? I am planning a backpacking trip up there in a week and am planning on carrying. May or may not be in a national forest. I know they have reciprocity with OK but am not sure how their laws differ.

Look into that though, there are certain citys that forbid open carry even though its an open carry state...Denver is NOT open carry.

Thanks for the responses. I'll check those sites. So even if concealed carry is forbidden in national parks until February, is open carry alright since it is an open carry state?

As another noted, not all municipalities allow open carry. It will be your responsibility to determine which ones do not allow it.

In traveling to any other states, find out what their laws are BEFORE you go. After you get stopped is not the time to discover what you should or shouldn't do.
