Just went to Walmart and noticed they no longer have Home Pride split top wheat bread. Another casualty of the Hostess collapse. Now I've got to find another good tasting brand that doesn't cost too much. I wonder just how many more products there are that I liked but didn't know Hostess made?
Same boat here. Been eating home pride dang near every day for about 10 years now. We switched to natures own honey wheat. Seems to be ok.
Try SunBeam Split Top Wheat. I've never eaten HomePride so I can't say one is better than the other, but I like the SunBeam over any other bread brand I've tried.
Ditto on the switch at first I thought who cares about Twinkies. Now it's effecting me

At the risk of making my fav even harder to get, I recommend Roman Meal bread. Usually at Homeland. Sometimes Walmart has a couple of loaves. I'm a glass half full guy so maybe if more ppl buy it, more stores will have it. Sorry about Home Pride.
I have 4-5 loaves of homepride in the freezer. You interested? It defrosts extremely well, just like fresh.
