The Diner is good but another place that's sometimes easier to get into is Juan Del Fuego (across the parking lot from SAMs, W.24th and Main). The owner was the head cook at The Diner for a long time. Both have great food.

I'm going to check it out too. Seems like I remember Sam's being off W. 36th and Main though?

Yes you are correct, 36th ave. I got to thinking about the food and couldn't think clearly. Juan was the cook for a long time at the diner. His new restaurant has mostly the same food with a few more spanish offerings. I love The Diner but Juan's is just as good.

For breakfast, go to The Diner on Main in downtown. End of discussion.

Everything is good. I like the huevos rancheros, or any other Mexican-inspired special they may have. The wife loves the pancakes; they are good I am just not a sweets fan and they are too much for me.

+1 on the Diner.
