My brother had issues with the brass sticking in the Blackhawk. It got traded at the big show. It was a blast though.

a friend had the ruger 30 cal pistol, it was deafening to shoot.

I had the Automag .44 magnum at one time. It was my first semi-auto. It was a beast of a gun. Being rimless, you had to cut down and fireform 30-06 brass, then load. The search for spent brass after shooting sucked.
It was just too much too much work to keep it full of ammo, and It's one of the few guns I've ever sold.
Currently have the .22 mag automag. The .22 mag cartridge has never lent itself well to short barrels and semi auto's. It's a cool gun to shoot with a big fireball at the muzzle, but I'd never trust it to use SD.
