get out and look at what? Stand there until you see a big enough break and jump in and toss it in reverse and make a break for it - Well alrighty then, guess me and my dad and grandfathers have all done it wrong. It's really not a big deal, I'll get out there far enough and they'll stop :hot:. I was just curious of where folks have landed in today's world is all.

yes. It's called reverse angled parking and is becoming more common as it's thought to be safer for traffic and pedestrians.

Pull past the spot, reverse in. Then when you go to leave you should be able to see the oncoming cars (and any people) as you pull forward into traffic.

It's different so it freaks some people out.
