Do you lock your gun in a car safe?

I had a small safe in my last truck. When I traded the truck, it was still bolted to the floor. Haven't gotten a new one yet.

I have a Fas 1 safe bolted into my center console. I also use for wallet, phone etc when I'm out running.

Don't have a safe in the Jeep but have thought of installing one.

you could use something like this until you find a more permanent option. I just run the cord where the seat bolts to the ground and into the safe, then tuck it out of sight.

For Christmas, my BIL (also a jeep owner) bought me a Bestop lock box that mounts under the drivers seat. I just got around to installing it last week.

I keep a "This car protected by Smith & Wesson" sticker on my car, then I leave the gun on the seat so they know I'm serious.

We have one of these in our Jeep. I sometimes wish it would stay closed without having to lock it.
