No idea how long my 03' 6.0lpsd lasted, had 333k when I sold it. I know of a 99' F350 7.3lpsd with 400k+ with original guts as well.

Im going to look at a 2000 model with a 350 vortec on Thursday. single cab long bed 4x4 with 130k miles on it for $5500. Last year of that body stype which is one of my favorites. Hopefully it is clean in person, it'd make a good putt around work truck.

A pox on your V-8's. Dodge slant six 225. Had one in a work truck that lasted for years. Would pull anything in 4WD and still get decent gas mileage.

The old Ford 300 I6 was a tough sucker. I have abused several for many many miles.

My son in Dallas has a Jeep Wagoneer with the slant 6 in his mud run truck. That thing has amazing power.

Yep. UPS used them in their delivery trucks for quite awhile. That says a lot.

Had a Honda Del Sol that had 250K on it when traded in and was still running like a top. I've owned several Toyota 22REs that have gone more than 350K each and the one I'm driving now has 375K+ on it. It does leak a little oil though.

Mrs Dumpstick puts 100 miles a day on her 2001 Dodge Stratus. It has 255,000 miles on it, and get 27 - 28 mpg.
    Twin OHC 2.4L (vrooom) auto.

Every 5k miles, when I change the oil, I just shake my head in amazement. Nobody believes me when I tell them about it.
