I saw a good buck chasing a doe this morning. Saw more deer today than i have any of the other days i have hunted this year.

settin on stand now and had a scrub 8 come by on trail of doe, stupid little guy , I grunted him right to my tree

just got back from the cleo springs area. i was a little dissappointed in that there was no chasing activity. found a few scrapes in an area that usually has many. both fri evening and saturday morn i saw does by themselves with no bucks around at all. can't figure it out

next week for rifle is a toss-up i'm afraid. they are either done up there or have not started.

They have been chasing and cutting out does for over a week in my neck of the woods. My buddy and I sat on the road at noon today glassing two bucks that had a doe cut out, and herded into the grass. The bigger buck was trying to run the smaller guy off.
