There is no profit in developing a generic drug, going through all the expense of trials, years of proving, only to have anyone market the same drug without the research costs. There cannot be a cure for "cancer" because we use that term to cover a multitude of issues.

Citing individual instances of pharma companies doing wrong and using that as a condemnation on Pharma in general is the same as declaring that all gun owners are killers because of the recent Synagogue shooter in California.

The fact that thousands of people have developed popcorn lung from vaping has nothing to do with it I am sure. Seriously that is like saying they do not want to legalize weed because it cures cancer. Not true, there is no REAL evidence it cures anything but some that it helps with some symptoms.

Straight from the American Lung Association, there are zero incidents of popcorn lung caused by vaping.

If.....if....did I mention...if?

If this is true...buy all the stock you can in this company BEFORE the price increases!!!
No kidding!

If there is a chance this drug cures cancer is there a chance it also prevents cancer...

Maybe we all should be taking it as a preventive measure...plus, you wouldn't have to worry about having worms. :)

The problem (one of 'em anyway) with untested remedies, is that some compounds can cross the blood-brain barrier. So they may tinker with yer thinker.

Pretty much everything medically-related has a risk/reward factor, but sometimes unknowns can be worse than the disease.

Just a thought. :drunk2:

Not true.
"Even though we know that diacetyl causes popcorn lung, this chemical is found in many e-cigarette flavors. It is added to "e-juice" liquid by some e-cigarette companies to complement flavorings such as vanilla, maple, coconut and more. So while diacetyl was swiftly removed from popcorn products since it could cause this devastating disease among factory workers, e-cigarette users are now directly inhaling this harmful chemical into their lungs. In fact, researchers at Harvard found that 39 of 51 e-cigarette brands contained diacetyl. The study also found two similarly harmful chemicals—2,3 pentanedione and acetoin—present in 23 and 46 of the 51 flavors it tested. And roughly 92 percent of the e-cigarettes had one of the three chemicals present."
