That was going to be my question... Any northern birds made an appearance? I would like to go before bow season kicks off. I also heard that we are going to have Dec. to hunt doves this year. That could be really good.
Pretty slow around here. Birds to the North, but no cold weather to drive them our way.
Next week may make a difference, but my prime dove spot is also one of my deer hunting areas.
I'm done with the dove until second season, and then I'll get back into them. We have a place they never leave. Several hundred spend the winter there, and walking through the trees, they flush like quail. Its some fun hunts.

I saw 2 on Sunday. That brings the birds I've seen while hunting this season to 8. Abysmal.
