Back when I took mine, in the metropolis of Wilson, I parked on the wrong side of the street when I got there. I still remember the trooper as we walked out to the car to start the test - "That's 5". I still passed.

Feel free to borrow my F250 crew cab longbed, they won't make you parallel park in it. I told my drivers ed students years ago that I would rent it out to them.:) JK It can be parallel parked though.
That's what I took my driver test in. Back when testing was in jenks.
Examiner took one look at the truck and said "head over here to the parallel parking area." I nailed it.
He looked at me and said "we're done, head back."
That was easy since i had been driving a dump truck on city streets for about 3 years!!

Nah, just a few points off. I aced my driving test (of course), and I have no problem parallel parking at all - I am quite good at it. It comes in handy in big cities, that is for sure. My sister, however, can't do it to save her life. She has a license, and she failed the parallel parking test miserably.....

It's easy when you take the car you're going to be driving in. I could do it in my mustang all the time, but i took the test in a honda civic.. Now I could probably do it in any car I wanted.
