Thats awesome! I remember that, I was in Conn. 1997

Hale- Bopp had its closest approach to Earth on March 22, 1997 at a distance of 1.315 AU.
(approx 122 Million miles from the earth)
Comet Honda - will be 0.077 AU from Earth. 7 million
Comet Elenin - will be 0.232 AU from Earth. 22 million
Comet Levy - will be 0.045 AU form Earth. 4 million

Imagine how cool THESE are going to look.

Levy will actually be chasing us for over a week, directly behind us in our orbit of the sun.

It will be like looking in your rearview mirror, and seeing a speeding car catching you FAST, then you turn off at the last minite, and it flies by to your right.
