Yes... I suppose the dictionary could be wrong and you "could" be right... but I doubt it. :)

http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/some

He does have a point there, based on M-W's definitions of the word "some."

By the way, I got distracted by the young lady in the "Ask the Editor" video at that link. Cute how the corners of her mouth curl inward.

Not sure why but it reminds me of:

Teacher: "Four crows are on the fence. The farmer shoots one. How many are left?"

Little Johnny: "None."

Teacher: "Listen carefully: Four crows are on the fence. The farmer shoots one. How many are left?"

Little Johnny: "None."

Teacher: "Can you explain that answer?"

Little Johnny: "One is shot, the others fly away. There are none left."

Teacher: "Well, that isn't the correct answer, but I like the way you think."

Little Johnny: "Teacher, can I ask a question?"

Teacher: "Sure."

Little Johnny: "There are three women in the ice cream parlor. One is licking, one is biting and one is sucking her ice cream cone. Which one is married?"

Teacher: "The one sucking the cone."

Little Johnny: "No. The one with the wedding ring on, but I like the way you think."

If this wasn't so long, then it would be in my signature line...love it

It didn't say rory ate any it says Alfonso eats some of them

But the issue is that there are multiple possible correct answer, and the teacher on only looking for one.

And it's in the back of the book, but you can't look there, because opening the back cover of a book is cheating.
