Savage Stevens 320 will cycle mini shotshells without an adapter, standard mag tube holds 10 of the little shells, shoots 2 3/4 & 3" too.
I wouldn’t feel under gunned with a double barrel and good 00 buck. Might not be my first choice, but it’s definitely an option.
Not so much trans. More like a Politician. It can go back and forth depending on what’s popular/desired at the momentM3 the first ever Trans Shotgun! Do you refer to it as they or them?
Definitely feed a bunch of different shells through that 870. Some of the newer ones have a machining mark (more of a lip really) in the action that can catch your shell and cause a pretty nasty jam. My 2015ish model 870 had that issue. A little deemed work fixes that problem up, but it’s good to know and check it out before relying on the shotgun for more important things than shooting pumpkins.
