Fishing Spot

So, I took my birthday off to go fishing in the morning (next Friday). Anyone care to share good places to bass fish around Tulsa/Sapulpa? I'm new to the sport, but I've got the very basics down. Been catching on a 2/0 EWG hook Texas rigged with a chartreuse tailed 6" Zoom worm. I go on my lunch break to local ponds and have some success with a couple about a 1 1/2 to 2 lb.

Are you just bank fishing? Or do you have access to a boat also

I hear there are some public docks around Skiatook lake you should look into a kayak

If you're going to drive to Skiatook lake you can just as easily go to keystone lake.
You can also fish below the dam.
Have you tried Pretty Water and Sahoma ?

I have absolutely slayed the sand bass below Keystone Dam in the past. I was fishing from the bank and wading out into water.

Keystone and the tailwaters below are both flooded, but the catfish are going nuts in the flooded Timber on worms and cut shad if you can find some. Same on Kaw.

I'm only going for the morning, and I live right by Heyburn Lake. Was thinking of going there. Less drive time = more fishing!
