What a huge surprise. Grumpy ol retired postal worker finding another lame opportunity to bash on OU.

Actually, on this I can agree, but its not just OU. So many of the professors at major colleges are far left liberals. Since most of them live in Norman, I would say his assessment is pretty accurate.

When was the last time either of you stepped foot on OU's campus for academic reasons? Pstmstr doesn't need to reply.... I know his answer.

Also, could you boys point to me the only Democratic won district in Oklahoma? Pesky facts indeed.

Though I didn't attend OU, I grew up in Norman and probably knew the campus better than most students. Even back then it was leaning pretty far left. And in the last gubernatorial election 4 counties voted for Edmondson: Cleveland, Oklahoma, Muskogee and Cherokee counties. Our lone democrat rep of the US HoR is the 5th district which is mostly Cleveland and Oklahoma counties. Districts 44 and 45 are both democrats in the Oklahoma house. Yes, those facts are pretty pesky. So yes, Cleveland county is pretty blue, as is OU.

Ok.... so you've never stepped foot on campus for academic reasons. I KNOW Pstmster hasn't. Something you're leaving out.....Oklahoma's 4th district includes Norman.... NOT district 5. Also, in district 4 a higher percentage of people voted for Trump. Whereas District 5? Not so much. Seems OKC and Edmond have all the Liberals right now?

Sure, any college campus is going to have some leftists. However, with 30K+ enrollment you'd figure they'd sway the demographics if what you say it is true. Where it counts, these areas are pretty red, compared to District 5 anyways.

Told you facts would make him angry. He’s been that way ever since his member got ignored. Rumor has it he’s going to come out of the closet and admit he’s an OSU fan later this month.

You're right about district 5, but the only reason Cleveland county is not in district 5 is to give that district a better chance at getting a republican rep. If Cleveland county was a part of district 5 it would be a lock every year to be held by a democrat. But that doesn't explain why the oklahoma house districts 44 and 45 are both democrat, and those both cover all of norman. And, as I stated above, Cleveland county was one of 4 who had more Edmondson votes last year.

I'm a Sooner fan 100%, but it doesn't change the fact that most major college campus towns are now a majority left leaning to far left.
