so i was getting the manual out of the box the gun was in, and a gift in the box...s&w gave me an extra magazine!!!! cant beat that service.
Why wait when the problem could just be the magazine? I want to eliminate this possibility first. What's a few more days?
Are you sure this wasn't your originally defective mag?
looks like a new one to me, the old one had some slack in it, wasnt as tight/snug feeling as the new one, or the new one i ordered from them few weeks ago. They did the same thing for a guy on youtube, that sent his in for repair.
If you do send yours off, you might want to put an identifying mark on your original mag...number it with a sharpie or something.
not sure why they would sent back a defective mag. Both mags work great. Says they replaced the original. A guy on youtube, said they gave him a couple of mags..so i dunno.
Buy the colt and Sell me the s&w
shot the gun again today, ran flawless, used all three mags i had, the one i bought from s&w few weeks ago, and the 2 that came back with my gun. All worked awesomely. So for sure, they didnt send me back a defective magazine, just sent me an extra one.
I'll sell you the S&W and get me another (I still don't want the Colt)! Seriously, a shop in Shawnee has the Smith for $399. That's a good deal.
