Heard an ad for G&S gun show in shawnee this weekend.....anyone know if it's worth going to?
If it's at the expo it'll be a medium sized show. There will be some private sellers who may haggle a little. It was one of these shows where I found my holy grail of Handi guns. The only one I've ever seen so it should be worth it.

Small shows like these is where you can find great treasures, which is my experience. I purchased a 37mm Gas gun at the Metcalf show in Shawnee, The big W Tulsa Arms Show is a good show to find hard to find items. I have never been to a G & S show, my experience has only been with Metcalf, Sooner, Ada Pistol and Rifle club, and RK.
I appreciate the replies. Sounds like a good one to attend. Unfortunately, it looks like I may be tied up this weekend and unable to go.

I went yesterday and agree with fyrtwuck. It wasn't worth my 25 minutes of driving. Im to the point these days that the only show im going to attend is the wanenmacher.
I have always liked the little show here. Its convenient for me, and I haven't gone to any show for awhile.
There was one dealer there, out of Elgin called Red Lake Arms,that had some decent prices on new guns. I could have picked up a Shield for $369.
There was a lot of powder there but I know nothing about reloading prices.
I was looking for a deal from someone walking in with something to sell, but there weren't many guns coming in.
If you are a fan of big shows I would do something else today.
