G23/32 C-ported barrel

I came across a c-ported 357 sig barrel for my G23 and was wondering what problems i would get using it in my G23 without a ported slide? Its a factory length barrel not a extended barrel, the ports will sit about a inch into the slide.

I would guess you would get a lot of gas on your hand and down the mag. I wouldnt even do it on a bet and I do a lot of stupid ****. You can have your slide milled for those ports.

This is what i was thinking also.
But thought i would ask, there is always people out there that knows more than i do and never to young to learn.

I bought the barrel at a auction yesterday for about the same price of the shipping on a new barrel if i ordered it so couldnt really turn it down. I will more than likely never use the barrel.

Get your slide cut or your will have a Kaboom. 357 sig isn't anything to mess with.

Just get your slide milled. You can run both ported and non ported in a slide thats cut for ports.
