Looking for a gas powered generator that the engine is no good. I'm wanting to try a little experiment, but I don't need the engine to work.

you are probably wanting one that runs at 1800 rpm vs 3600 rpm, to get the correct hertz (60).

That's a good point, actually something I hadn't thought of. I've just had this idea for a while and I want to experiment with it. I've been toying with the idea of off-grid property. Maybe I could run it with a windmill...
