On the first day at the new seniors’ complex in Henderson, NV, the manager addressed all the new seniors (about 115 of them between the ages of 65and 85) pointing out some of the rules:

"The female sleeping quarters will be out-of-bounds for all males; and the male dormitory is off limits to the females.

Anybody caught breaking this rule will be fined $20 the first time."

He continued, " Anybody caught breaking this rule the second time will be fined $60.

Being caught a third time will cost you a fine of $80.

Are there any questions?"

At this point, a retired Navy Chief stood up in the crowd and inquired:

"How much for a season pass???"

Oh man! That brings up a bad memory. About 10 years ago I was working as a cell tech for Cingular in Phoenix. We had a site that needed work inside Sun City or Sun City West...one of the communities there with controlled entry. An old man around 80 was working the gate. We had to go to another site and get parts. When we returned we were pulling up to the gate. You could see him sitting at his desk in the shack, when an old lady pops her head up from underneath the desk wiping her mouth and looking a little embarrassed. (shiver)

My ex used to work at a retirement home and would come home and tell some stories about residents sneaking from room to room in the night.
