Huckabee just nailed the cross gender military issue.

The military is not a social experiment. The purpose of the military is to kill people and break things. Its not to transform the culture by trying out some idea that some people think would make us a different country and more diverse.

Carson had a good performance and wisecrack at a good ending. Huckaby hit Hillary with a good jab too. Trump was weak at the end no real specifics, just Trump'isms.

Carson is probably the most well thought out, sincere, and most articulate on that stage.

I agree. Him and Fiorina would be one hell of a brain trust.

Edit: I still like Cruz but he didn't knock anything out of the park. He didn't hurt himself either tho.

Kasich gave a lot of inspiring stories, no basics. Cruz, the only person in the Senate that has actually done something or tried to do something, was basically ignored.

The God question was stupid.

Cruz, Rubio, Carson and Walker did well, and I think Carson helped himself the most. Cruz needs to jump in next time instead of asking if he can say something. Bush is just painful to watch. Huckabee is still a progressive. Rand Paul needs to lose the Church Lady smirk, and he lost in the exchange with Christie. Kasich and Christie...meh. Trump is entertaining, but anyone who views him as a serious potential nominee should have Ben Carson check their brain function.
