Gun cleaning solution

I've been looking through old posts/threads with no resolve!
My question is................
What do you use to clean your pistol? What Solution?
What do you use to oil or lubricate your pistol?
How often and thorough are you when cleaning your pistol?

Been using hot water & dawn dish soap with a toothbrush to scrub everything down. Rinse it off with more hot water. Blow most of the water off and spray down with a water soluble anti-corrosion compound made for firearms. Let it dry and then oil with a gun oil.

I usually just use hoppes No9 on pistols scrub parts with an old toothbrush and wipe everything down, run a brush through the barrel a couple of times then a couple of patches. Oil moving parts and friction surfaces then wipe the gun down with a light coat of oil.

I've got one of those tabletop parts washer vats. I usually keep diesel in it to wash the occasional random part, but want to turn it into a gun cleaning station. What would you suggest using?

I have an ultrasonic cleaner for parts. Use the commercial mix to clean. Tried the internet recipe of lemishine and dawn once on blued parts. Never again, the citric acid is not friendly
